An important message about self deployment from Hold your Horses about the Carr fire: “They have County Evac teams in place that will be deployed first. The sheriff’s and firefighters are asking for people NOT to drive up there, as you will unfortunately only be in the way. We’ve had many ask us about housing evacuated livestock at their barns-please remember our distance from the fire, does not make it plausible for many evacuated residents. However, they will notify us if they are needed. They’ll be using the ranches closest to them and working their way out from there. We know everyone’s heart is in the right place, but please do not head that way unless asked to do so. We do not want anyone getting put into harms way”

Help with donations instead and do not self deploy. Donation link https://www.gofundme.com/tcb-2018-carr-fire-fund
