Folklorico Latino De Woodland

Folklorico Latino De Woodland The Folklorico Latino de Woodland is a nonprofit organization dance group focusing on traditional folk dancing from different regions of Mexico.

The group was established to encourage the youth to develop a sense of pride and appreciate their heritage through the arts of Mexican music and dance (Folklorico). The goal of the youth group is to build self-esteem, confidence, and cultural awareness to children and adults throughout the greater Yolo County region.

Big CONGRATULATIONS to 2 of our graduates & Marina Ramirez Scholarship Recipients! Our Mirandas graduated from Woodland High School & Pioneer High School. The Mirandas have been dancing with FLDW since they were 6 yrs old!

Miranda Diaz will be attending Sacramento State majoring in Nursing

We are honored to announce that we have been invited to participate in Carnaval San Francisco 2026!

We will be showcasing
“Danza de los Diablos de la Costa Chica”

This incredible opportunity allows our dancers to represent Woodland at one of the largest multicultural celebrations on the West Coast. We are excited to share our passion for danza while celebrating culture, community, and the beauty of our heritage.

Being part of is an exciting milestone for FLDW and our dancers.
