California Honey Festival May 16th - 17th, 2026
Celebrating the importance of bees and pollinators to the world through honey 🌻🐝☀️

“Our goal is to educate the general public and provide that knowledge that will help save our bees for the hobby and commercial beekeepers. The California Honey Festival, which has a core mission to educate the public about the valuable role that the honeybee plays in our environment. The festival located in Woodland California and, will be providing speakers along with plenty of learning opportun

ities, features hands-on fun, a number of vendors, a children’s area, Master Gardeners and much more to come. Visitors will get a chance to see custom built bee hives, check out bees wax lotions, soaps and candles, as well as artwork. Join a local bee club, learn how to help honeybees, learn how to brew honey beer and much more including sampling many varieties of honey and products that are produced by bees.

We are buzzing with excitement to welcome the 2026 American Honey Queen, Delanie Craighead! 🐝✨

Delanie will be visiting WJUSD schools for three days leading up to the festival, educating our local students all about the incredible world of bees and honey—alongside BZ Bee, our beloved mascot! 🍯💛

You can also meet Delanie in person at the California Honey Festival on May 16–17 at the Yolo County Fairgrounds. She’ll be there to answer questions, share her knowledge, and inspire all ages about the importance of bees!
