Help alleviate hunger in our community and sign your tree up today!

Village Harvest is a nonprofit volunteer organization that harvests fruit from backyards and small orchards to feed those in need, and provides education on fruit tree care, harvesting, and food preservation.

A team of Village Harvest volunteers enjoyed the great weather while doing some harvesting Thursday evening. They picked 349 pounds of oranges from a single tree and donated it to the Food Bank of Yolo County.

On September 27th, 2010, Village Harvest-Woodland completed its first harvest, which yielded 375 pounds of locally grown melons. Since then, with the help of just a few volunteer pickers and several donors, the organization has harvested over 8,000 pounds of produce and donated it all to organizations that help alleviate hunger in our community.
