Slow Food Yolo hosted a live interactive cooking demonstration at the Davis Farmers market 50th anniversary celebration. Utilizing fresh, seasonal ingredients sourced directly from the market's vendors to prepare and serve small bites to attendees.

Board member Kristy McKeen educated the crowd on the principles of Slow Food and other national programs like the Ark of Taste, while incoming board member Stephen Curtis naturally assembled and delivered hundreds of small bites to an attentive crowd. Slow Food Yolo hosted a live interactive cooking demonstration at the Davis Farmers market 50th anniversary celebration. Utilizing fresh, seasonal ingredients sourced directly from the market's vendors to prepare and serve small bites to attendees.

Come celebrate the best of summer with Slow Food Yolo for a Joyful Dinner to support the Center for Land-Based Learning, limited tickets get yours now!!

Some dinners are worth slowing down for. This is one of them.

We’re gathering at The Maples Farm, one of only 8 certified Slow Food farms in the United States, alongside Slow Food Chef Juan Barajas, for a farm to fork dinner.

Proceeds support the Mobile Farmers Market, which brings fresh, local produce to food-insecure neighborhoods across our region.

We are happy to host a Piedmontese themed Slow Foods Joyful Dinner on May 7th at 6:00pm.

The menu is inspired by Terra Madre, which is in Turin, Italy, the Piedmont Region, this fall.
