We are happy to host a Piedmontese themed Slow Foods Joyful Dinner on May 7th at 6:00pm.

The menu is inspired by Terra Madre, which is in Turin, Italy, the Piedmont Region, this fall.

ALF Bakery

Located in the lower level of Chelsea Market, the Chelsea Local, ALF Bakery offers freshly baked bread, viennoiserie, pastries, babka, and sandwiches.

Fascinated by the fermentation process and traditions of bread making, owner and head baker Amadou Ly strongly believes in minimal interaction during the bread making process: le pain vivant (living bread). Having worked at some of NYC's most respected and innovative kitchens as a pastry chef and chocolatier, Amadou turned his focus to artisanal baking at the iconic Arcade Bakery, where he perfected his skills under the tutelage of Roger Gural for five years. Now, at ALF, Amadou is sharing his vision and creations with NYC.
