It is Pet Appreciation Week, and we’re celebrating the special bond between seniors and their beloved pets. 🐾❤️ Pets provide companionship, comfort, purpose, and unconditional love. These pets are more than companions - they are family. No one should have to choose between feeding themselves and feeding their family.

The Meals on Wheels Yolo County’s PAWS (Pets and Well Seniors) program ensures that homebound seniors can care for their animal companions by providing pet food and essential pet supplies.

Join us in celebrating the pets who bring joy, connection, and comfort to the lives of homebound isolated seniors throughout Yolo County. 🐶🐱

A huge thank-you to everyone who made the 4th Annual Charity Golf Tournament such a success—especially Cache Creek Casino Resort, Yocha Dehe Golf Club, and Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation.👏

Yolo County, it's not too late to vote — Senior voices matter! 💙💚

Several options remain for your vote to count on Election Day, no matter your level of mobility, access to transportation, or location in the county.

✉️ If you received a ballot by mail, you can place it in the U.S. mail, postmarked on or before June 2. You can also take it to a designated drop-off location on or before June 2.

📍 If you don't have or can't find your ballot, you can cast an in-person vote at a vote center or mobile vote center. Dates vary by location. Visit http://elections.yolocounty.gov/ for more information, or call the Yolo County Elections Office at (530) 666-8133

We are so grateful to the Friends of Meals on Wheels of Yolo County, who organized another successful Epicurean Esprit event. The evening was full of good food, local beers and wine, and great company at a beautiful venue, The HIVE / Z Specialty Food 🍯
