Lingering impacts of the pandemic caused a healthcare provider shortage.
Other EMS agencies offering better pay and benefits are actively recruiting your paramedics away from your ambulances. Passing 7A1 enables us to hire additional paramedics to provide additional ambulance coverage when needed and cover sick and vacation needs.

Our cardiac monitors, around 15 years old, need replacement. Without the tax increase, replacement of portable ventilators, medication infusion pumps, automated CPR devices, portable lab equipment, vehicles, and ambulances will be delayed.
