🎀 You Don't Have to Walk Alone

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

For some, breast cancer is a diagnosis.
For others, it's a loved one's journey.

For many, it's a story of fear, strength, loss, healing, hope or all of those things at once.

And while breast cancer overwhelmingly affects women, it can affect people of any gender.

At theHER Weekend, we believe in the power of being seen, supported, and reminded that we don't have to carry the hard things alone.

So today, we honor everyone whose life has been touched by breast cancer, the diagnosed, the survivors, those in treatment, the caregivers, the families and friends, and those we remember. 💗

💜Maybe someday when life settles down.💜

Maybe someday when everyone else needs a little less from you.

Maybe someday when you have more time, more energy, more clarity-or when you finally feel "ready."

But what if you don't have to be ready?

What if you could simply be curious?

Curious about who you are underneath all the roles you fill.
Curious about the parts of yourself you may have tucked away.

💜What if you stopped waiting until you felt ready?💜

Ready to make the change.
Ready to have the conversation.
Ready to leave what isn't working.
Ready to try something new.
Ready to ask for help.
Ready to become the woman you keep imagining you'll be someday.

We tell ourselves:

When I'm more confident.
When life settles down.
When I have more money.
When I'm less afraid.
When I know exactly what I'm doing.

Then one day you realize something...

Ready was never coming.

Most of the things that changed our lives began while we were still scared, uncertain, messy and wondering whether we could actually do it.

Maybe courage isn't feeling ready.

Maybe courage is saying yes while a little voice inside you is still whispering, "Are you sure about this?"

So here's your question for today:

What have you been waiting to feel "ready" for?

💜We are more connected than any generation before us and somehow it can still be incredibly hard to find the people you can be completely real with.💜

The people you don't have to impress.
The people you don't have to perform for.
The people who can hear the messy version of the story and don't immediately try to fix you.

Somewhere along the way, “connection” became something we could count.
Followers. Likes. Views. Comments.

But maybe the connections that change us aren't measurable at all.

They're sitting across the table.
Laughing until you can't breathe.
Listening when your voice cracks.
Saying, “Me too.”
And reminding you that you're not the only one figuring life out as you go.

Maybe what we're all craving isn't more connection.

It's more "real" connection. 💜

💜 Maybe you've been thinking about it. Maybe you know someone who needs it.

Today is the last day to register at the Early Bird rate for the HER Weekend, October 16-18.

HER Weekend is hard to explain until you experience it. It's a weekend to step away from the noise of everyday life and spend some time focusing on you,your story, your relationships, the things you've carried, and perhaps the things you're ready to let go of.

There will be laughter. There may be tears. There will be meaningful conversations, connection, encouragement, and women reminding other women that none of us has to have everything figured out.

And sometimes, one weekend can stay with you long after you've gone home. 💜
