Gillian Boxx paved the way for Natasha Watley. Natasha is a UCLA 4-time first-team All-American, Two-time Olympian, and seven-time pro-All-Star player, has 3 World Championship titles, and 2 Pan American Game Gold Medals. Natasha was recently inducted into the USA National Softball Hall of Fame! Natasha is a true inspiration on and off the field. She is a monumental African-American athlete to ever play our sport, Thank you Natasha for continuing to break barriers and change the game of softball. ๐ŸคŽ

Black History is ALWAYS, but this month the Natasha Watley Foundation will recognize Female Black Softball athletes, past and present, who continue to pave the way for our black future. These women have broken barriers and created opportunities for the little girls of color that dream of being a softball players. Every day we will honor these beautiful women who continue to inspire and change the world.
Leading us off for our women who paved the way...Gillian Boxx! Gillian Boxx is a 1996 Gold Medal Olympian who paved the way and broke a big barrier for several other Black Olympic Softball Athletes of color such as Natasha Watley. Gillian was a 4-time All-American at the University of California Berkeley and 2-time WBSC World Championship Gold Medalist.๐ŸคŽ
