Please consider making a donation to help with the repairs for Camp Whitsett due to damage from the Windy Fire last year.

The Friends of Camp Whitsett is excited to announce our fundraising campaign “The Phoenix Fund” The purpose of this campaign to raise funds to help the council meet its $250K insurance deductible so that all the necessary repairs can be made to camp to reopen for summer 2022.

During the December 5th Town Hall meeting, we were challenged by Jim Pruss, former Camp Director, long time Camp supporter and member of Friends of Camp Whitsett, to double our fundraising goal to $50K. Which he will match once we have raised all $50K.

We need your help! Donations of any amount all count to our greater goal of getting camp reopened, however we understand that’s not possible for everyone. If you aren’t able to donate yourself, please share and spread the word.

Once we raise $50K, Jim will match it making our total amount $100K.

We are hoping to reach this goal by March 31, 2022.
