We are a club comprised of homebrewers: we are responsible adults who make beer, mead and cider for personal use. We have monthly meetings at which we learn about individual styles and how to brew them, and taste and critique brews brought by members for that purpose. We are a not-for-profit 501 c 7 Social Organization. Generally, non-members are welcome at our monthly meetings, which are free. We
offer lunch at a nominal fee to cover the cost of the food, ice, and water. Lunch is optional, but encouraged due to the consumption of alcohol during the meeting. Other club events are restricted to members and their guests. IF this organization EVER holds any event(s) which members of the general public are invited to observe or participate in for a fee, the income from the general public, less a proportional share of the expenses which will not benefit members, will be given to an organization which is exempt from income tax under (California) R&TC Section 23701d or IRC Section 501(c)(3) on an annual basis.
