California is just too expensive. Red tape and years of unnecessary delay are driving up the cost of everything we need, including the housing our Veteran families depend on. Yes on Prop 45 streamlines the approval process for essential projects like housing, clean energy, water systems, schools, and hospitals, without cutting corners on environmental protections or community input.

For Homes 4 Families, this means we can build faster and deliver more mortgage free homes to the Veteran and military families who have sacrificed so much for us. Join us in supporting Prop 45 this November.

Rainbow Build 2026 is in the books, and it wouldn't have been possible without our incredible sponsors! A huge thank you to The Home Depot, Suffolk Construction, Lockheed Martin, California Department of Veterans Affairs, Pacific Coast Civil, Eric and Jeanne Steinhauer, the City of Palmdale - Government, UCLA, Cars for Heroes, Green Thumb Industries, The Drain Whisperer, Saugus High School, and Andy Gump for helping us build homes and hope for our Veteran and military families. Your generosity fueled everything from breakfast and lunch to the build itself. If you'd still like to support our Veterans, donations remain open at p2p.onecause.com/rainbowbuild2026.

Thank you to everyone who came out Saturday for Rainbow Build! Whether you swung a hammer, cheered on a team, or showed up to support our Veterans, your presence made the day a success and we are so grateful.

In a single day, volunteers at the Palmdale Enriched Neighborhood® rough graded property, installed vinyl fencing, built and installed two pergolas, completed paver work, painted pillars and fascia, constructed an ADA-accessible ramp, and installed flooring. A powerful reminder of what community can accomplish with a shared purpose.

Every task completed brings our Veteran and military families one step closer to a home of their own. 🏡

The fundraising does not stop here. There is still time to reach our goal, and you can continue to donate through October 31. Every gift helps us provide enriched, supportive housing for the Veterans and military families who call Homes 4 Families home.

On the heels of the 25th anniversary of September 11th, we pause to honor the first responders, service members, and everyday citizens who sacrificed so much that day.Their courage continues to shape why we do this work: building homes, communities, and futures for the Veterans and military families who answered our nation's call.

Join us for the 9th Annual Rainbow Build on September 19, 2026, at our Palmdale Veteran Enriched Neighborhood®! Registration begins at 8:30 AM, with the build kicking off at 9:00 AM, at 186 Taintor Road, Palmdale, CA 93550.

This year we're aiming to raise $75,000 to keep delivering affordable homes to Veteran families. Every dollar brings us closer to welcoming another Veteran family home.

Twenty-five years ago, our nation changed forever. On September 11th, we pause to remember the lives lost and to honor the men and women who, in the years since, have answered the call to serve. At Homes 4 Families, our mission is rooted in gratitude for that service: we build Veteran Enriched Neighborhoods® where those who protected us can put down roots and build their futures. Today and always, we remember, we honor, and we build forward. Learn more about our mission at www.Homes4Families.org.
