Over the past several months, we've been quietly building.

We've had the privilege of walking alongside several individuals and families impacted by domestic abuse, listening to their stories, learning from community partners, and strengthening relationships with churches, shelters, and volunteers.

One thing has become very clear: sometimes the hardest step is simply knowing where to begin.

With that in mind, we've added a new Need Help page https://www.theahavaproject.com/need-help to The Ahava Project website, along with a Request Confidential Support form. It's designed to provide information about domestic abuse, safety resources, and a confidential way for someone to reach out to us.

Our hope is that this resource will help individuals take a safe first step - and help friends, family members, pastors, and others know where to direct someone who may be struggling.

You may never need this page yourself, and we sincerely hope you never do. But someone you know might.

Please consider sharing this resource or simply keeping it in mind should the opportunity ever arise.

The Clothing Department is the biggest source of funding for the Basic Needs Thrift Shop, helping support our free Food Market and voucher program. We need your help!

We're looking for volunteers to sort and hang clothing donations on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. No experience is needed—we'll provide training, and every shift makes a real difference in helping local families.

All summer, kids at The Dwelling Place are traveling to VBS, summer camp, and field trips safe and sound! Thank you to Children's Minnesota for equipping our staff through an engaging, hands-on car seat training.

Looking for a meaningful way to give back to your community this week?

The Ahava Project is looking for a few additional volunteers for a service opportunity this Friday, June 26, from 10:00 AM to approximately 12:15 PM.

Projects for the day may include:
• Assisting with a car wash, detailing program vehicles (vacuuming and cleaning interiors)
• Finishing projects in a childcare center
• Cleaning in a recently renovated area

Individuals and families are welcome to participate. No special skills are needed, just a willing heart and a desire to serve others.
