🏆 11AAA Brings Home 3rd Place and Secures Their MBT Bid! 🏆

What a weekend for the 11AAA boys at the Woodbury tournament!

The team came out strong in pool play, going a perfect 3-0 and earning a 1st place finish in their pool. The boys battled hard throughout the tournament and faced a tough Chaska team in their first bracket game. Despite the loss, they showed tremendous resilience and determination, bouncing back. In the third-place game, the team defeated Wayzata to secure a 3rd place tournament finish and, most importantly, earn their MBT bid!

This tournament was filled with exciting moments, including multiple over-the-fence home runs, outstanding defensive plays, and several excellent pitching performances that helped carry the team throughout the weekend!

Congratulations, boys, on a fantastic tournament and an earned trip to MBT! Keep the momentum rolling! ⚾💛🖤

The East Ridge 10AA baseball team put together an impressive tournament run this weekend, battling through five games to earn the championship and punch its ticket to state.

East Ridge opened the tournament with a tough 17-16 loss to Kasson-Mantorville before staging a remarkable comeback in a 14-14 tie against Burnsville Blaze after trailing 14-0. The team then found its stride with a 16-6 victory over Lakeville South, fueled by strong hitting, aggressive baserunning, and solid pitching.

On Sunday, East Ridge advanced with a 21-10 win over Burnsville Blaze, collecting 20 hits in the offensive outburst. In the championship game, East Ridge defeated Fairmont 15-8 to secure the tournament title.

Throughout the weekend, East Ridge demonstrated resilience, teamwork, and a powerful offense, scoring 82 runs in five games. Congratulations to players Sully, Cooper, Henry, Jackson, Dean, Ryan, Alex, Kam, Bennett, Mav, and Hank on an outstanding championship performance!

The 12U AAA East Ridge Raptors spent Memorial Day Weekend making unforgettable memories with teams from multiple states at Ballparks of America in Branson, Missouri. The boys got to feel like they were in the big leagues with their own lockers, tournament-provided custom uniforms, and playing on replica fields (Wrigley and Fenway). While Branson was mostly fun and games, the boys played some amazing baseball too — bringing home a 2nd place finish!!! We are very grateful for all the families who came out to make this weekend special and so proud of this group of boys!

10AAA Battles for a 3rd Place Finish at the Woodbury Invitational.

In a stacked field (4 of the top 8 teams from last year's GSTC field), the 10AAA were able to take home 3rd place in a hard fought tourney. In a do-or-die 3rd game to get into bracket play, Luke Arndt pitched 4 innings of shutout ball to preserve a 3-2 victory over St. Paul Highland. Luke also threw a scoreless 6th in the 3rd place game to seal the victory. This was a true team effort with 5 hard fought games. Congrats boys!

What a weekend for 9AAA! We stayed close to home to play in the Woodbury Invitational. Over five games, the boys put together an incredible tournament run — scoring more than 60 runs and finishing as tournament runner-up and punching tickets to both state tournaments!
The offense was firing on all cylinders, producing big innings, timely hits, and aggressive baserunning throughout the weekend. Defensively, the team made key plays when it mattered most, while our pitchers battled every inning to keep us in games.

9U AAA had a great first tournament! They ended the weekend 4-1 and finished 3rd overall. The bats were hot for this group — scoring 75 runs across the 5 games (and mercy ruled two of their opponents).

They battled back from being down 10 in the semifinal game, but Minnetonka ended pulling out the W in the end. They learned a lot about not giving up, working together and trusting their skills. The future is bright for this team!

The 13AAA team took 2nd this weekend. The boys played with some grit on the field but were cowboys by heart. Baseball is a big part of their lives but community and coming together is their everything.

Our team would like to thank everyone for the love and support of Michael Friend and his family (Julie, Avry and Robbie). This team will continue to battle and fight as a true team. Cowboy Strong!
