🎉 Calling All LRE Fun Run Super Star Sponsors! ⭐🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

While the school year may be winding down, planning for the 2026–2027 LRE Fun Run is already underway — and our committee is hard at work preparing for another AMAZING event!

The annual Fun Run is the LRE PTA’s biggest fundraiser of the year, and thanks to the incredible support of our community, we raised over $90,000 last year to support the students, staff, and families of Liberty Ridge! 🎉

These funds help make so many wonderful things possible at LRE, including:

✨ In-house field trips for every grade
✨ Community events like Open House, the Spring Dance & Science Fair
✨ Teacher & staff classroom allocations for supplies and materials
✨ Student enrichment opportunities throughout the year
✨ And SO much more!

One of the BIGGEST highlights of the Fun Run each year is our Super Star Prize Raffle ⭐ — featuring exciting prizes for students who raise $250 or more during the fundraiser.

We are currently looking for businesses, families, and community partners who would like to donate a Super Star prize or sponsor part of the event!

🎁 Past prizes that have been HUGE hits with students include:
🏒 Tickets to professional sporting events (MN Wild, Vikings, Frost, Minnesota United FC & more!)
👕 Signed sports memorabilia & jerseys
🎂 Birthday party packages from local businesses
🛴 Larger ticket items like scooters or gaming systems
💵 Cash donations to help purchase raffle prizes

📚✨ Volunteers Needed for Our BOGO Spring Book Fair! ✨📚

We’re getting ready for our exciting Buy One, Get One FREE Spring Book Fair, and we need your help to make it a success!

Volunteering is a fun and easy way to support our students and our school library. The book fair helps our library earn books and funding—so the more successful it is, the more resources our students receive! No experience is needed.

Curiosity was in the air at this year’s LRE Science Fair—and our students did not disappoint! From creative experiments to hands-on discovery, we saw incredible ideas come to life. With experience tables open to everyone and families joining in the fun, this wasn’t just a science fair… it was a full community celebration of learning.

To all of our participants and award winners—congratulations. You inspired us!

And to those already thinking ahead… what will you create next year?

We can’t wait to see where your curiosity takes you!

Good news everyone!
Remind your Jr Scientists that the spring Super Science Class starts this Tuesday after school at Liberty Ridge. We will start the season by building some super structures. We still have a few spots open in the class if you would like to join the spring session. You can register at SoWashCo community education.
