🌳☀️ A LONGTIME LRE WISH IS FINALLY HERE! 🦅

Did you know LRE teachers have been asking for an outdoor learning space since the school opened in 2003?

Last year, one of our PTA goals was to find meaningful ways to get our students outside more—and we’re so excited to see that vision come to life!

Our new outdoor learning space features five picnic tables, including ADA-accessible seating, and gives teachers a whole new “classroom” for reading, science, group work, discussions and more. 📚🌿

And because getting outside should include plenty of PLAY, too… we also invested in a new playground apparatus that has quickly become one of the kids’ FAVORITE spots on the playground! 🛝🙌

These were significant investments made possible by PTA fundraising and the support of our LRE families. We couldn’t think of a better way to put those dollars back into our school than creating spaces our kids can enjoy every single day.

Here’s to more learning, more movement, more fresh air and more fun at LRE! 💙❤️🦅

📣 PARENT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED — FIRST 3 DAYS OF SCHOOL! 🦅❤️💙

The first few days of school are exciting… and a little busy! We’re looking for a few extra sets of helping hands to make those first three days run as smoothly as possible for our LRE students and staff.

If you have some time to give during the first three days of school, we’d love to have you! There are several ways to help, with specific shifts available so you can choose what works best for your schedule:

🚌 Bus Helpers — Morning & Afternoon
Help students find their buses, get where they need to go, and make arrival and dismissal a little easier those first few days.

Extra hands make a BIG difference at lunchtime! Help students navigate the cafeteria, open tricky packages, find their tables and keep lunch moving smoothly.

🎉 Calling All LRE Fun Run Super Star Sponsors! ⭐🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

While the school year may be winding down, planning for the 2026–2027 LRE Fun Run is already underway — and our committee is hard at work preparing for another AMAZING event!

The annual Fun Run is the LRE PTA’s biggest fundraiser of the year, and thanks to the incredible support of our community, we raised over $90,000 last year to support the students, staff, and families of Liberty Ridge! 🎉

These funds help make so many wonderful things possible at LRE, including:

✨ In-house field trips for every grade
✨ Community events like Open House, the Spring Dance & Science Fair
✨ Teacher & staff classroom allocations for supplies and materials
✨ Student enrichment opportunities throughout the year
✨ And SO much more!

One of the BIGGEST highlights of the Fun Run each year is our Super Star Prize Raffle ⭐ — featuring exciting prizes for students who raise $250 or more during the fundraiser.

We are currently looking for businesses, families, and community partners who would like to donate a Super Star prize or sponsor part of the event!

📚✨ Volunteers Needed for Our BOGO Spring Book Fair! ✨📚

We’re getting ready for our exciting Buy One, Get One FREE Spring Book Fair, and we need your help to make it a success!

Volunteering is a fun and easy way to support our students and our school library. The book fair helps our library earn books and funding—so the more successful it is, the more resources our students receive! No experience is needed.
