Power of Exercise TEACHING TEENS FITNESS!

Knowing that healthy teenagers are more likely to become healthy adults, OUR VISION is to help reduce the nation's adult obesity rate by teaching exercise and healthy living to teens. We pair teens, ages 13-19, with personal trainers for 1-on-1 personal training sessions, nutrition and fitness education, and goal setting, giving them the confidence and tools needed to continue their new healthy lifestyle into and throughout adulthood.

Anna's final workout. If only she would have improved on the physical assessments we test at the beginning and end of the program (pushups, plank test, and step test). Oh wait, she did: pushups +8, plank +16 seconds, step test -12 beats per minute (recovery heart rate). No big deal;)

Exercise doesn't have to be boring. Try to find something active that you like to do. Could be running, yoga, group classes, bodybuilding, whatever.... Having a workout buddy can help too. If you enjoy what you're doing you're more likely to stick with it and reach your goals.
