Last weekend our troop joined the Gloucester county cleanup program. It rained a little in the beginning but a scout is always prepared. The rain held out and we were able to collect 3 bags of trash around the lake. Plus got to see some wildlife. Most were alive but we saw an interesting skeleton. Logan did catch a dead fish. Pretty sure that doesn't count for his merit badge. Overall I believe scouts had a great time.

At Elite climbing, the boys had an exceptional experience while striving for their climbing merit badge. They learned crucial aspects of safety, communication, and teamwork, which helped them navigate challenges. Although some encountered obstacles and fears, they learned to overcome them, and most significantly, they had a wonderful time.

This is what we do when we fundraise. The kids get to go camping and learn life skills. Cold weather camping with little survival life skills. Learning to camp in cold freezing rain weather. Collecting fire wood and worms. Being able to sit down and eat a good cooked rib and soup dinner made by the scouts.
