Back in November, we took a group to MVP Dairy. We learned about the McCarty and VanTilburg families and their shared mission of sustainability across the agriculture industry. We viewed the cows being milked on the 80-stall milking carousel, and we shuttled through the 6 free-stall barns and feed barn while observing a crop field planted to cover crops.

We had an amazing turnout for Rivers Summit IV! A huge thank you to all 96 participants for bringing your knowledge and curiosity to our water quality conference.

Another huge thank you to each of our speakers! Each brought incredible expertise and information as we discussed legacy phosphorus and its role in nutrient loading in the Western Lake Erie Basin.

Our Farmer Input Series Report is published! This was a huge effort done in partnership with Allen County Soil and Water and the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service. We had 34 participants in discussions to identify barriers to adopting conservation practices in the summer of 2023. The report is the summary of these discussions and includes recommendations for overcoming these barriers.
