Hey all!!! We have been contacted by the mayor and now have a question to pose for you all!!
We have been informed, our food trucks have been hurting our local pizza shop. We have been asked to move the food truck event away from the park to Bull Rapids, so that the pizza place can sell slices of pizza. This would also mean that we would have to cancel one of the scheduled trucks to ensure that the trucks attending have enough in profit for them to come back again.
Originally, the food trucks were just to bring in food not regularly available in our small town. Then they became a fundraiser for the splash pad, placing the food trucks at the spot where a splash pad was to be installed. We have been informed a splash pad is not a possibility, so now the food trucks have been held there to utilize the park and give children a place to play while parents relax and eat.
We want to offer the community the chance to decide, so we have created a poll to see where the community would like the next food trucks event to be. Should we keep the food trucks where they have been, utilizing the park and giving the children a place to play? Or move them to Bull Rapids, families can gather on the bit of grass available and cancel a food truck so the pizza place can sell pizza by the slice?
