Congratulations to our 16U team on a tremendous weekend at the USA Eastern Nationals! 🥎 💥
What a weekend at the USA Eastern Nationals ❤️🤍💙🥎
This group showed what true resilience looks like. We battled through extreme heat, hazardous air conditions Friday morning, and massive thunderstorms that stretched Saturday into a 15 hour day at the fields. Two straight mornings starting at 6:30am, a late Saturday night leaving after 10pm, and right back at it Sunday for multiple back-to-back games.
It wasn’t easy and it wasn’t perfect, but this team never stopped fighting.
After not starting the way they had hoped, these girls put everything on the line and refused to back down. Battling through both the winners and losers brackets, we fought our way to the semifinal games.
We ultimately finished 5th out of 22 teams, but that placement doesn’t fully capture the fight this team showed all weekend.
The numbers tell part of the story:

But the stats don’t capture the grit, the heart, and the way this team came together when it mattered most.
We were right there, just a couple games short, but this run proved exactly who we are.
Through every win and every challenge, we play for God and trust His plan. 🙌
