Keep Prince William Beautiful

Keep Prince William Beautiful Keep Prince William Beautiful is Prince William County, Virginia's leading environmental action organization.

We are an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful and an environmental nonprofit that educates citizens, businesses, and other residents of Prince William County about recycling and litter and promote ways to beautify our community. Partnering with businesses and government, community groups and educators, KPWB inspires individual responsibility and collective action toward a clean, green, and beautif

ul community. We don't keep clean up for the sake of keeping Prince William beautiful, but rather so people can do beautiful things.

So far this year, KPWB volunteers have marked 461 storm drains within Prince William County!
Storm Drain Marking is an educational activity that lets residents know it’s not OK to dump trash in storm drains. Storm drains lead directly to the nearest creeks and streams, affecting local wildlife. Only Rain down the Drain!

With the holidays nearing an end, please give your live Christmas tree another life by disposing it for compost or mulch. Live Christmas trees can be disposed of as yard waste. Check with your hauler about curbside pickup, the first two weeks of January, or take it to the nearest location that accepts yard and tree waste. Remember to remove all ornaments, decorations, tinsel, nails and tree stands before tossing your tree.
Check with NOVEC for drop off dates.
