What an amazing time we had educating, empowering, and inspiring our youth at the All Girls Youth Retreat with ’scultivatingyouth
It was such an amazing experience and I am so blessed by what God did in the room! Theses young ladies are engaged, equipped, and empowered to move forward and protect themselves at all cost!

We created our own during our final lesson on salesmanship! Each of the girls was assigned a task to create a product or service. They had to do market research, budget, product development, create a pitch, then compete amongst there peers as they pitched their ideas/inventions.
Out of this lesson, the girls learned creativity, salesmanship, how to pitch their ideas, project their voices, etc. We rated each other from product to presentation. I was so blown away from this experience! This is an incredible group of girls and there fitter is bright!

What does this mean to you?

Have you learned the difference between true, and your truth? Or are you still wrestling with right and wrong?

I had a revelation many years ago during the time I discovered that most of what I was taught was a lie!!! Not in the sense that it wasn’t true but in the sense that it was not my truth! It was then that what I sought changed, and what I asked for came a different way!
Once I discovered that life was no longer about right and wrong but a quest to find my truth and live by what I discovered as true, Change as we know it could not have its full affect in my life! As children we do what is right or wrong according to what we have been taught or not! And according to the boundaries our parents set, but as adults you learn to lead your own path! In doing this you quickly discover that choices and consequences are not based on those principles but yet out of the convictions and contradictions that lies in your soul!
How have you discovered your truth as a pose to what is true? Or are you still wrestling with right and wrong?

No matter where I go, Prayer and Thanksgiving will always be at the beginning of what I do! In order to move forward in life, you must understand that what is to come is much better than what has been. You must also know that as long as you follow the footsteps that has been ordered for you, you will reach your destination!
Moving forward is not just a physical act but a mental, spiritual, and emotional one as well. Many times we use our head for one thing, our hearts for another, all the while our bodies are on auto pilot!! I wander what would happen if we used our power to operate them all at once?
Moving forward is a matter of the heart!!!

Growing up I would hear my father drop small gems like “ your attitude will take you far” so I carried it with me. Everything I have done has been fueled with having the best attitude toward whatever it was I was doing, or even whomever I was with. There has been times when life happened, my attitude changed, my smile wasn’t always so bright! But I am Thankful to have learned the lessons life taught me. Learning to grieve, heal, forgive and set myself free is the best gift I have and am learning to give ME!!!
thank you for putting this in perspective and renewing my outlook therefore revitalizing my smile!
No matter what you are dealing with, no matter the obstacle ahead of you... know this... if you face it, deal with it, or go through it with a great attitude, that alone will determine how you are promoted when the time comes!
Keep Moving Forward, so much and so many is counting on YOU to do so!
