I think we really need to change our orphan or fostercare systems because the way we work with vulnerable kids up till now, has not been very helpful. What if we intervene in the lives of the children we seek to serve by placing them in the most priced thing they long for: a loving and understanding family to call their own. I think we would prevent all the pain and abuses and give them a sense of belonging to a family. What if we listened to the real emotional needs of these children as Greg Dollar says "we listen we listen with every cell of our body from our toes to our head we listen and we listen"
What if we never give up we stick with them and respect them. What if we build a community of love and support around them. Don't you think that doing this stuff works?Place them with willing family members if availabe that's what we need to do with our our most vulnerable kids.
all I'd say is let's never give up on them let's wrap community around them and let's just love them as they are.

May the Lord Jesus Christ continue to insure more people to come to the aid of orphans around the world, people who understand that orphans don't need orphanages or institutions but loving families to adopt them into. Its time we began following the Lord' commandments regarding caring for orphans. As you watch this video, may you be directed to love and adopt a less privileged child.

We can all make a difference if we only gave a pinch of all we have. Supporting orphans and vulnerable kids is what is needed now more than ever.

We need to always rethink sponsorship for orphans and vulnerable kids.

Love knows no bounds: color, race, gender, s*x or s*xuality, religion or creed do not stop orphans or foster kids from enjoying love. We are delighted that these kids found a loving family.

JOIN US SPREAD THE LOVE

Tell your friends and family about THE work we do with orphans and vulnerable children, a work of selfless service which requires a lot more than just asking people to donate money or children's clothes, books or backpacks. It transcends materials or goods, what about sharing the life transforming stories of love we encounter each day - when an orphan gets a total stranger that accepts and says "I love you" for the first time in many years. See how easily that story impacts a multitude of other people who are having an unfulfilled desire to be loved or to once again belong to a loving family to call their own.

Our monies or material donations alone can never fill or heal the wounds of the children we serve but a message of love that brightens their little moments assuring them that there is still hope.

It is because of such hope that we at Thou Shall Eat Foundation base our care for orphans and vulnerable children on love, awakening such love in some of the most compromised and neglected environments, to weave stronger and more compassionate outcomes that make for the holistic development of our targetted beneficiaries around the world.

Continuing in the culture of selfless love, we invest in sustainable early childhood development, education, health and psychosocial support as a cost-effective strategy to break the cycle of inter-generational poverty to build quality human capital.

Working with caregivers and foster parents to prepare our beneficiaries for the reopening on schools in Sierra Leone.
What if you were a kid and schools are reopening what will you wish to have before returning to class? A new uniform, a new shoe, books and an assurance of daily lunch and hopes of a hot home-cooked food after school but many of the children we serve do not have one or all of these necessities. How then can we achieve these Global Goals when the family support systems are broken down and poverty coupled with corruption weighs heavy on the people? Orphans and vulnerable kids are hugely affected and deprived as such, their future is bleak without a cohesive and unified system of support that prioritizes the welfare of orphans and vulnerable children so as to increase their prospect for actualizing their potentials. If we want to maximize and accomplish the Global Goal, we must fight not only to cater for the basic needs of orphans but fight to standardize orphan/foster care and to make sure institutionalized orphan care is monitored to promote the very best interest if the kids.
