It was a pleasure participating in the 2026 Manassas Fall Jubilee! 🍂

After purchasing the historic building at 9060 Church Street and moving in about six months ago, we’re grateful to call Old Town Manassas home.

In looking at a story from Mark 2:1-12 we want to look at the supporting community around the paralyzed man, and how we can apply that to our own lives. Today’s message asks some key questions; (1) Do you have friend who will carry you? (2) Do you have friends that will climb with you? (3) Are you willing to carry someone else? The point being, let’s do life alone, but rather in community that makes us stronger together!

As we begin to enter into the End Times, we can expect some shaking around us and in the world. This shaking is God’s doing, to reveal what cannot stand apart from Him, to reveal that there is only one foundation that is solid ground (the foundation given to mankind through Jesus our King) and everything else is sinking sand. Logically speaking, it’s wise to put our hope/faith in what cannot be shaken and not in the things made by the hands of man!

Sometimes we long for fresh revelation but have trouble hearing, what can we do? We can hold onto the last set of instructions (just as one would do with a military order) and go back to the written instructions we have received (the Word of God). Listen in as we look at someone who held onto the instructions she has received with faith, and received a healing according to her faith.

Prayer is such an enabler! It’s our directly link to our very personal God, reminding us that we are never alone, that He is the head of His body the Church, and because He cares for us, our prayers are being heard and at the right time they will be answered. In a world with growing darkness, prayer is the fire that keeps warm and gives light.

Have you ever through about the value of obedience, our obedience is not works, our obedience is not forced, biblical obedience is an expression of a heart that loves God more than whatever disobedience seems to offer. In essence, when we are found in obedience, we also find that our faith is alive in us. In today’s sermon we look into TRUE WORSHIP, a Life of Obedience.

The gospel message is intended to be understood by ALL, to be unforgettable, and easily applied in our lives. Today’s sermon looks at the new covenant in Jesus. We have entered into this covenant through faith, knowing that all the work of establishing the covenant was completed by Jesus; through His own body and blood. Thus, we are called to remember, as we break bread and drink the cup of the new covenant together, that such a covenant was put in place for our benefit and the glory of our God!
