LET’S MAKE OUR WALL OF HEARTS BIGGER! 💛

Pennsylvania Avenue School 27 has a HEART OF GOLD! ✨

Our students are spreading love, kindness, and hope one gold heart at a time as we come together to support children fighting pediatric cancer. 🎗️

We want to see our hallways FILLED with beautiful gold hearts! Every heart represents a little extra love and encouragement for a child who needs it.

🖍️ Decorate your heart with love!

Suggested donation: $5

📅 Return hearts by October 23, 2026!

Remember, donations are NEVER required to participate. Every heart deserves a place on our wall!

Swipe left to see all the hearts already on the wall! 💛

Let’s show just how BIG our Penn Ave hearts really are! 🧡🖤

SOCKTOBER IS IN FULL SWING! 🧦

Our Pennsylvania Avenue School 27 Student Council’s Socktober initiative has been underway, and thanks to our amazing Penn Ave families, we’ve already collected so many socks!

But we’re not done yet! We’re still collecting NEW socks of all sizes throughout October to help individuals experiencing homelessness in our community.

Every pair makes a difference! Let’s keep the kindness going, Penn Ave! 🫶🏼

🚒🔥 A BIG THANK YOU to the Colonia Fire Department! 👨‍🚒

Our Penn Ave kindergarteners, first graders, and second graders had such an exciting visit from our local heroes! Colonia Volunteer Fire Department

Students got an up-close look at what it takes to be a firefighter, from watching how firefighters put on their gear to learning about the different tools they use to keep our community safe. And of course, everyone’s favorite part… THE FIRE TRUCK! 🚒😍

Thank you to the amazing firefighters of the Colonia Fire Department for taking time out of your busy schedules to visit our students, teach them about fire safety, and make learning so much fun!

We appreciate all that you do to keep our community safe! ❤️🔥
