Seasons start, seasons end. From the inception of this team, it aimed to help young ladies learn softball skills and personal skills. It wasn’t about winning every game, it was about winning or succeeding in life. Since 2015 we have had the following: a D1 pitcher, set records, got married, had a baby, graduated college and followed her dream, we had a D1 pitcher move to D3, graduated and became a police officer. 4 ladies went on to join the Army and Coast Guard and other branches. 8-10 who graduated college, got married and started families. At least 4 who went on to Masters programs. 1 who played pro softball and now is weightlifting. If you feel any of these girls was not successful, you’re wrong. Softball isn’t life, life happens and includes this wonderful sport. Congrats to those we identified and to those still Chasing their dreams.
