We would like to thank everyone for coming to the fish fry tonight even though the weather was not ideal. We also have to recognize Merrill and Hazel Mohn for letting us park all the trucks at their place for the day to get ready and also to Goodfellows restaurant for donating all the coleslaw for tonight. Thank you ALL!

With the fish fry coming very soon we wanted to give a couple updates! The first is that we know the weather may not be ideal and we are going to do some changes so that we can have everyone waiting inside in the food line so please come support us no matter the weather. Second is that thanks to the generosity of BMO bank in woodbine we now have a new way to donate for you tech friendly folks.

Did you hear a helicopter over Woodbine today? 🚁
Woodbine Fire & Rescue was proud to participate in a county-wide EMS education day with nearly 30 attendees. A huge thanks to the top-notch educators from LifeNet Omaha and representatives from Nebraska Medicine’s Neurology, Trauma, and Emergency Medicine teams for an outstanding day of learning and collaboration.

A special thank you to the Event Speakers, Ignite Pathways for use of their facility, Good Fellows for lunch, and Iowa Western Community College for making this event possible!

Are you interested in supporting our Future Healthcare Workers? HOSA is Health Occupations Students of America and just started a chapter in Woodbine Community Schools this year. They are raising money for future events like competitions, conferences, and any other additional costs. These students are interested in entering the health care profession and could be future volunteers.
If you not interested in the movie night but would like to contribute stop by Ignite on the 3rd at 530pm and drop your donation off. Below is a link to read more about HOSA.
