East Alton Rotary Club was chartered October 28, 1971 and Wood River Rotary Club was chartered on March 27, 1929. January 1, 2021 East Alton & Wood River Rotary Clubs merged into one united club becoming the Riverbend East Rotary Club! Rotary, the world's first service club organization, is a worldwide organization of more than 1.2 million business, professional, and community leaders. Riverbend East Rotary Club meets Thursdays at 12:00 for a lunch meeting.
