During Benjamin’s journey, the outpouring of support from our friends and family and overall community was overwhelming. We know that we could not have gotten through those 9 months without everyone’s love and support and we realized quickly that no matter

how our journey ended, we needed to somehow, Pay it Forward. Our mission:
• To provide support and financial assistance to children and their families affected by cancer
o We seek to advocate for children fighting, generate prayer armies to help the warriors fight and also assist with one on one fundraising for financial assistance to those families in need.
• To provide funding for cutting edge pediatric cancer research with a primary focus on Acute Myleoid Leukemia (AML) research. o Pediatric Cancer receives less than 4% funding and no new pediatric cancer drugs have been developed in over 20+ years. o Although AML research is extremely important to us for obvious reasons, we also recognize that there are so many other cancers that are difficult to treat, some like DPIG, offer no hope for a cure. Our extended mission is to also target funding for other pediatric cancers with the hope that a cure for one cancer can lead to a cure for other cancers.
• To recognize and offer scholarships to outstanding youth in the community excelling in academics and actively involved in community service. o Throughout Benjamin’s battle, his church youth group was a constant in his life offering love, support, friendship and laughs. Many of the youth went above and beyond to lift his spirits and simply be a friend. We would like to recognize and honor exceptional youth by offering a yearly scholarship. In order to begin making strides towards achieving our mission we require your support. It takes an army to enact change and we need to defeat this monster called : CANCER. If you are a family in need or simply know of another family in need, please reach out to us and let us know how we can help. We welcome partnering with other organizations! We need an army. Greek-American Margaret Manolis reached out to The National Herald to share her son Elias’ story. “He is a 13 year-old boy from Franklin Square, NY,” she noted. “He has been battling Chronic Kidney Disease since he was born. We recently found out he will be needing a kidney transplant. We are searching for a living donor (family cannot donate).
