Thank you Forrest Elliott for your PPE Collection efforts and donation to WR BOE. Thanks to all community members and friends who contributed to this great effort, including Kris Amels for coordinating BOE pick up and the Taylor family for using their 3D printer to make face shields.
Our district was prepared with PPE for all staff but now we have even more in case of emergency or unexpected students' needs.

If you need a book, from children to adults, the WRPEF temporary Little Free Library (aka blue bin) is available at the WRIS next to lunch pick up by the gym door. Now through 3pm today. Please use gloves when handling and the pack of wipes included in the bin.

Thanks to all who have donated books for our LFL annex. Need a book? PM us for location and instructions.

It has come to our attention that our Little Free Library has been nailed shut as a town directive, to reduce the spread of infection at this time.

So, in an effort for WRPEF to continue providing books to our students (while the libraries are still closed, and books become more difficult to get), we will offer the same LFL service (take a book, leave a book) as a curbside pick-up through our board members.

If you have books to donate or need a book or more, simply send us a Private Message here and we will provide you with instructions and book options. We will be following current CDC guidelines when accepting and preparing curbside pick-up of the requested books.

Our Story

Formed to enhance educational opportunities for the town’s public school students, the goal of the Wood Ridge Public Education Foundation is to provide supplemental funding for programs which are already supported by public financing at a basic level. The funding provided to the students can be substantially improved through additional private sector financing towards programs that may not receive funding from traditional sources, such as the district budget or state aid.
