Keeps the Post in solid shape and place.
Army veteran, steady and true,
He’s balanced more books than a library crew.

He loves the Jets—yes, that's quite brave,
A loyalty few are willing to save!
From customs imports to Michigan's shore,
Bob's the kind of guy we all cheer for.

So here's to Bob on his special day,

The Wood Dale Memorial Day Parade will take place on Monday, May 25th, stepping off at 11:00 AM from Wood Dale Rd. & Elizabeth Dr.
The parade will conclude at the Veterans Memorial on Irving Park Rd. for a brief Post presentation honoring our fallen heroes.
Anyone wishing to march with American Legion Post 1205 is welcome to join us.
Participants may:
Meet at the Post at 10:00 AM to caravan together to the staging area, OR arrive directly at Elizabeth Dr. for lineup.

Post 1205 Friends and Family,It is with deep respect and regret that I must announce the passing of Daniel “Dan” Robert Pagano, age 75, on May 7, 2026.

Dan was a dedicated member of the Post 1205 Sons of the American Legion Squadron since 2017 and a true pillar of Post 1205. He served faithfully as Adjutant, Vice Commander, and most recently as Commander of the Sons’ Black Sheep Squadron in 2024, always leading with the best interests of the Post and its members at heart.

His steady leadership, friendship, and unwavering commitment to our Legion family will be deeply missed.Beyond his community service, Dan was known for his incredible sense of humor, loyalty, and love of camaraderie—qualities that brought people together and made him a cherished friend to so many.
