URGENT!!! It's possible that Lulu might have been bred by Prince in their temp caretakers home. I need to line up a foster for her in the Chicago area ASAP. These poor dogs have lost their owner due to tragic circumstances.

Foster or foster to adopt homes needed for 2 English Setters. Prince is tricolor and will be 6 the end of the month. Lulu turned 2 in May. Both have UKC papers so should be able to be back doored into the AKC via NAVHDA possibly. Vaccinations and heartworm testing is not up to date, so these 2 are at risk. I would like to line up foster or foster to adopt homes in the Chicago area so we can get their obligatory IBR bloodwork done and pending how that looks, spay/neuter and microchips done. We have new p*e pads in the nursery. They are easy to hose off outside. I'll need to change 2-3 times a day. Rowan, Freja and Arden are giving extra cuddles while mom is outside. 💙💗❤

June 2026: Queenie, Rowdy and Felli came by for a visit this morning. Dulce and Robert (my old foster Rowdy's adoptive mom and dad), have been taking the best care of our Memphis momma the past 8 months and it shows. Queenie is no longer the timid frightened sickly Beagle, she absolutely feels so much better and her chronic cough is nearly gone. She's also filled out and her coat looks so healthy. The 3 Beagles are quite the little pack and follow each other all over and Queenie will need other dogs in her new forever home- especially a friendly confident male as she just adores Rowdy. Dempie was happy to see his momma but they have all become independent on their own from the frightened th*****me that flew to town last fall.

Next step is Queenie's spay the end of the month. I'm going to repeat her heartworm test, but she will still probably be positive.

The best part of our visit was how Queenie howled with excitement when Dulce put her leash on as she LOVES to go for her daily walks. Foster homes ARE A BLESSING!!!!

URGENT- POINTER IN NEED, KENNETT, MO.

"Hi, I work as an animal control officer in the small town of Kennett MO. A nice lady reached out to us yesterday about this dog. Amongst the many calls from owners not wanting their dogs anymore and angry we can’t fit them all, she was understanding and so thankful for any help. This dog isn’t hers but a stray that wondered up weeks ago now. She has posted in all the local groups to locate an owner but like so many it seems that no one is missing her. She has fed and cared for her but her cats and dog are not excited to have another dog around. I don’t think she hurts the cats or dog, they just don’t like her. She believes she is a pointer mix of some kind, unsure on age but she says she appears healthy and super sweet! If your licensed rescue would be interested in helping this girl we can help with transport, we just don’t have the space to house her long term. Being in this area I am sure she is probably Heartworm positive but she has not been tested, no other vetting has been done, however we can provide basic vaccinations and health certificate if we find a rescue with space for her.

Cherie is really starting to look Beagly with her long droopy ears. 😀 She is still available for Foster to Adopt. Potential candidates need to be in the Chicago area and have a safe fenced in yard. Ideally we want her to have a playful young companion as Beagles are pack animals. Our adoption application is at helpibr.org
