Last Friday, we had the pleasure of hosting a luncheon for our amazing teachers and staff at Bennett. We are super grateful to Evie Mae’s BBQ for their incredible donation of chopped brisket, as well as all of their delicious sides we chose to treat our favorite staff! And another special thank you goes out to all of our parents and families who donated drinks and desserts! The spread that was put together was absolutely amazing!

This was such a fun event and we are so thankful to our amazing staff who work day in and day out to teach and help our students grow!

PTA MYTH BUSTERS — WEEK 2!

We’re back with Week 2 of our PTA Myth Buster Series!

🙋‍♀️ MYTH #2: If I join the PTA, I have to volunteer.

❌ MYTH BUSTED! Joining the PTA does NOT mean you’re committing to volunteer at every event—or even volunteer at all!

We appreciate every single person who joins, whether you have time to volunteer or not.

And if you do want to volunteer, you get to choose!
Want to help with one event? Great!
Want to help plan something? Awesome!
Want to set up or tear down? We’ll take you!
Don’t have time to volunteer? That’s okay, too!
There’s no guilt, no pressure, and definitely no black hole of volunteering!

Your PTA membership is valuable all on its own, and we’re so grateful to have you as part of the Bennett PTA family!

Stay tuned for Week 3 as we bust another PTA myth!
