After a strong, long run of supporting the arts and artists with grants, scholarships, events, and exhibitions in the Eastern Lakes Region of New Hampshire since 1968: GWAC is disbanding. Missions have been accomplished, and for that, we should rejoice.

The GWAC Board of Directors is pleased to announce that the Governor Wentworth Regional School District school board approved accepting a donation of our remaining funds and art supplies to use for their visual and performing arts programs.

On our website, you'll find some resource links for your consideration. Some go to our partners – and we strongly encourage our current supporters to pivot their fiscal support to them. Some are specifically for visual arts creatives looking for a new association to call “home.” And for those of you wanting to stay in touch with our artists, there is a guide so you may see how to connect with them directly.

Many heartfelt thanks are owed to all our artists, partners, supporters, and past and present leadership for being a part of our art journey. We simply could not have done this without you.

Wishing you a Happy 2025!
