Wolfeboro Area Meals on Wheels, Inc. This program was established in the early 1970’s as a neighbor to neighbor project. Who is eligible to receive MOW? Cost

The cost of each meal is $4.00.

Each day, our friendly drivers stop by, deliver a hot midday meal to your door, say “hello,” and basically just check up on your well-being. About Wolfeboro Area Meals on Wheels (MOW)

The food is prepared in the Huggins Hospital kitchen under the direction of the hospital’s Food and Nutrition Service department. The meals leave Huggins Hospital around 11am, Monday through Friday, and reach most p

articipants in time for their midday meal. The elderly and disabled who are homebound and/or unable to prepare their meals due to physical or cognitive impairments. A referral can be made by family, medical providers, or close caring friends and neighbors. For more information about eligibility, please call the MOW office at (603) 515-2043. People living on lower income may qualify for subsidized meals and savings, assets, and home ownership are not considered. An Application for Subsidized Meals may be requested through the MOW office at (603) 515-2043.
