Music possesses a unique gift: it acts as a bridge straight to our fondest memories.

Last Saturday, our group of mindful musicians revisited ARTIS Senior Living of Lexington for a special interactive performance. We spent a tranquil afternoon sharing carefully curated pieces designed to soothe, inspire, and spark warm recollections among the residents, closing out the day with smiles, shared stories, and heartfelt connection.

🌿 Dance of Life 🌿

Music has a unique way of bringing people together across generations. On June 7, our young musicians had the privilege of sharing an evening of music with the residents, families, and staff at New Horizons at Choate.

Through every melody, we celebrated life, joy, connection, and the power of community. From classical favorites to heartfelt performances, each piece was offered with gratitude and care.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us and supported these young musicians as they shared their talents and kindness through music. 💚

More than an orchestra — this is a space where young musicians explore creativity, friendship, culture, and community through music. ✨

At Mindful Musicians, students will:
• Perform Chinese music with Western instruments
• Play student original compositions
• Participate in community service performances
• Experience conducting opportunities
• Build friendships through rehearsal social time
• Receive priority access to free workshops in composition, conducting, music history, and more

🎨 When the music began, expression followed.

On April 25 at the Lexington Community Center,
we gathered for a beautiful Expressive Arts Therapy Workshop ✨

Through a series of musical excerpts,
participants explored their feelings using colors, lines, and shapes.

They drew with one hand, both hands,
sometimes even engaging their whole body —
creating freely in response to the music.

There was no right or wrong,
only space to feel, connect, and express 🤍

Thank you to everyone who joined us,
