As I prepare to conclude my year as Master of William Parkman Lodge, I would be honored by your presence at my final meeting in the East tomorrow evening, Tuesday, June 9, 2026.

Our schedule for the evening is as follows:

• Lodge opens at 6:00 PM
• Open to the public at 6:45 PM Bring a GUEST)
• Receive the District Deputy Grand Master at 7:00 PM
• Annual BBQ immediately afterward

I hope you can join us for this special evening of fellowship as we reflect on the past year and celebrate together.

A Masonic Reflection on Work and Harmony

True labor is not merely the exertion of effort, but the continuous shaping of one’s character through virtue, discipline, and the leveling of passions and prejudices. In the quarry of self-improvement, a man proves his worth not by title, but by the integrity of his work.

Likewise, to agree is not to surrender conviction, but to uphold respect for differences, to value peace above pride, and to preserve harmony among brethren. Agreement rooted in mutual respect strengthens the bonds that unite us.

Work without harmony breeds discord, while harmony without labor leads to stagnation. Only through their union can true progress be achieved.

Let this principle guide our actions, in our homes, our communities, and within the Lodge, that we may be diligent in our duties, peaceable in our dealings, and steadfast as builders of a better society.

In unity, charity, and brotherly love, may we live these teachings daily.
