Northwoods Archers Non-Profit Archery Club
Northwoods Archers Club meetings are held the 2nd tuesday of the month during winter months and 2nd wednesday during summer months.

Meetings begin at 7:00 pm. Northwoods Clubhouse 12 miles west of Medford on Hwy 64 and 1/4 mile south on Pirus Road

The guys (and Ashley) have been working on the trails out at Northwoods. They are prepped and ready for summer shooting which will start on Thursday, June 11th. We will have 20 targets set on the North or South range and the air-conditioned bar will be open at 4 pm. Mark your calendars and get the dust off those bows!

Congratulations to our Northwoods Archers Scholarship recipients!

Bayley Metz, Morgan Liske and Augustus Zuleger were awarded 2026 scholarships from Northwoods Archers. Congratulations and good luck in your secondary education programs.

We had a workday at the bow club on Saturday. Our dedicated workers were prepping the trails, inventorying new targets, painting stakes and stands, moving the swing set, etc. Thank you guys for coming out, if not for our dedicated volunteers we would not exist!

Northwoods Archers set up an archery booth at the Youth Expo again this year. 5th graders from Medford and surrounding schools were able to test their archery skills by shooting at several 3D targets. Numerous kids came through this booth multiple times to take a shot at the targets! A special thank you to our dedicated Northwoods Archers volunteers who made this possible!

Northwoods Archers will have a workday this Saturday, May 16th beginning 8 am. Come on out and help us prep the course for summer league. Listed below is a tentative agenda, I'm sure the guys will come up with additional duties for our volunteers!

• Clear brush and down trees on trails and shooting lanes
• Clean out target sheds and organize targets and stands.
• Replace bad cores on targets and label new targets.
• Put out target practice bales, stands and stakes.
• Prep and gravel trails, fill in low spots.
• Replace shingles (slip prevention) on bridge and steps
• W**d whack
• Spray Round-up
• Get foggers up and running.
• Clean and organize the upstairs attic.
• Clean inside of bow club, clean windows and cabinets by bar.
• W**d flower bed.

Reminder: Bow club meeting tonight (5/13/26) beginning 7 p.m. at Northwoods Archers Clubhouse. On the agenda, upcoming changes for 2026, trail prep proposals, workday agenda for this Saturday and Youth Expo archery booth for Friday. If anyone wants to come out early, we can prep the youth arrows and bows. Also, the stands can be picked up from the blacktop trail. See you there!

We would like to thank everyone who participated in our 30th annual Earth Day clean-up. It was a success due all the volunteers who gave up their Saturday and picked litter along the roadside ditches and lake fronts to keep out forest clean and green. We appreciate the support of our volunteers and the donors who sponsor this program!
