OH MY GOODNESS!!! Y’all came out in droves on Monday and the numbers prove it!! Our trucks served OVER 700 ORDERS on Monday!!!! A RECORD-BREAKER for the Main St. Food Truck Rodeo!!! 🤠👏🏻💥🎉💙

I may be a little bit sappy, but looking out over the crowd on Monday…THIS IS WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO! It’s not about the numbers or even the food (YES, we LOVE delicious food and ALWAYS love for our food truck rodeo fam to do well)…it is truly about watching 600+ people of all ages, all walks of life, with all kinds of responsibilities take time out of their busy schedules on a random Monday evening to share a meal with family, friends, neighbors, people they’ve never met before….to sit together, TALK to each other, laugh together, play together…across differences, across divides. Towns supporting towns (collaborating, not competing) and For a few hours on a Monday night in the HEART OF APPALACHIA, the world is a kinder, friendlier, more welcoming place…AND WE ARE HERE FOR IT!!! 💫

Thank you to everyone who believes in the power of COMMUNITY and continues to support this crazy endeavor!! You’ve ALL made this organizer’s heart smile (truly, my cup runneth over today)!! 🤠💜

Over 400 (CRAZY!!!) of you came out for great food and great community!! ‼️🙌
Our hearts were full of JOY watching kids play, friends laughing, and everyone enjoying time TOGETHER!! This is what the RODEO is all about and why we volunteer our time, energy, and love into bringing it to our communities!! 💙

EXCITING NEWS: 🎉🎉🎉
Some of you may or may not know about the organization behind the Main St Food Truck Rodeo…

In July 2025, I officially filed paperwork with the State and formed the Wise Main St Association. The Wise Main St Association is a community development org committed to bringing people together for a vibrant, thriving Main St. in the spirit of inclusive community! and it is a fully volunteer endeavor (I’ve actually got a day job, y’all).

In the past five months, the Main St. Association organized and brought to you the Main St. Food Truck Rodeo, the Wise Veterans Day Event, and the Holly Jolly Block Party (including gingerbread house competion and holiday scavenger hunt) in partnership with so many local organizations, businesses, and community members, with full approval of the Town of Wise. I had no idea what to expect, but was blown away by such a positive response!! THANK Y’ALL!!!

It’s been a whirlwind of a ride and a lot of work in a short amount of time, but as we enter 2026, I’ve had some time to slow down and I’m eager to see what we can do together in 2026!

✨✨✨PLEASE JOIN ME ON WEDNESDAY, JAN 21st AT THE INN AT WISE (6pm) for a Wise Main St Association Info Session and Community Conversation!! ALL ARE WELCOME - WE WANT YOU TO BE INVOLVED!!!

At this session, you’ll
1. Learn more about the Wise Main St Association - our mission, goals for 2026, what we are (and aren’t)
2. Learn how you can be involved - membership, volunteer opportunities, partnerships, etc
3. Share your creative ideas for events and activities to bring the community together - ALL VOICES ARE WELCOMED AND ENCOURAGED!

This organization is a true community org - for EVERYONE from all walks of life, and I hope you will attend!!

Truly, I can’t thank you enough for your support in 2025! Cheers to a year of community engagement and togetherness in 2026!! 👏🏻🫶
