We provide programming and beautiful facilities for youth, families, and ministry groups: to know Christ and to make Him known. Camp Bethel Ministries is a year round operating camp! In the summer months we host retreat groups as well as offer summer camp programs for youth, young adults and families. We also make our facilities available to rent if a church or youth group wants to host their own

retreat. The mission of Camp Bethel is to know Christ and to make Him known in keeping with the Great Commission, and we do this through ministry avenues such as summer camp program, year-round retreats, day-programs, campground and RV rentals, paintball, and much more. If you and your family or small group just need some time away in a lovely Christian environment where God's glory is evident in the nature setting, we have several beautiful lodging facilities that are available to rent. Family Camp at Camp Bethel is back! You're invited to join us Labor Day Weekend for the perfect ending to your summer and the chance to make lasting memories with your family.

The entire camp and many of our activities are open for you and your family to enjoy. During the day, see if you can keep up with your child on the hiking trails, take them for a ride in a canoe, enjoy outdoor sports or simply relax by the lake as your children play.

There are optional activities throughout the weekend for you and your family to enjoy. You're free to dive in or take time to rest as a family!

Today is the busiest “changeover” day of the summer. One awesome group of campers arrives before another officially checks out, which means our team must do a FAST cleaning and reset to create another great welcome! That means it’s pizza night and nobody’s mad about it. 😆

We are just over halfway through our official summer season, then we’ll pause before FAMILY CAMP over Labor Day weekend (are you signed up?!!).
Please pray for our team as they stay strong 💪🏼 all the way, for campers as they have transformational time away from their everyday, and for church ministry leaders as they follow up in discipleship. May we all lean into what God has to say to us, respond in obedience and growth, and may there be lasting fruit for His glory and our good!!

THEY’RE BACK! Lake Days for our community Monday - Thursday, July 6-9, 1-4 each day. We’ll have the Caboose snack shack open lakeside, and The Outpost - Coffee and Community at Camp Bethel in Wise, VA is open Monday-Friday, 7-1 + Tuesday and Thursday 4-8.

Adults must supervise all swimmers under 18 years and lifejackets are required.

SEE YOU AT THE LAKE!!

Take some time and enjoy being together outside… hide the screens and make memories together!!

Here at Camp Bethel we love a creative fun game that even the leaders get involved;) see how far you can run and scream in one breath… these day campers had a blast with this one.
