1925 was an iconic year — Key Club International was founded in Sacramento, California, U.S. Here’s what else was happening:

📚 “The Great Gatsby” by F. Scott Fitzgerald and “Mrs. Dalloway” by Virginia Woolf were published.
🗿 Mount Rushmore National Memorial was dedicated in South Dakota.
🌍 NYC became the largest city in the world, passing London.
📺 The first public TV demonstration was broadcast.
📝 Phrases like “assembly line,” “slumber party,” “gas station” and “sweatpants” appeared in print for the first time.

Congratulations to U.S. Air Force Major Nichole Ayers! The Key Club alum is the pilot of NASA’s SpaceX Crew-10 mission, which launched Friday night from Cape Canaveral, Florida, U.S. Ayers graduated from Woodland Park High School, in Woodland Park, Colorado, U.S., and attended the U.S. Air Force Academy. She was selected as an astronaut in 2021, and this is her first mission.
