Yes we’ve gotten snow. Yes we’ve had wind. Yes we’ve had rain and sun …. It was cold overnight so maybe the snow set up some? It’s hard to say. Trees will be down somewhere.
If you go out - be prepared for anything. Watch for trees, rocks, open water… and changing conditions.
Please be safe out there! Tell someone where you’re going. Have your gear with you. And as always - have fun!

Sign up today and stop in to donate some blood on March 26th from 2:30 to 5:30 at the Wisdom Community Center!

Mother hen here - Chinook winds melted off a lot of the valley snow on Saturday and Sunday this past weekend. Yesterday more snow delivered by a driving wind. Spring conditions indeed. So if you go out, PLEASE be prepared for rapidly changing conditions both snow and weather. Don’t go alone and tell someone where you’re going. Be prepared, stay safe and have fun!

There’s snow in the forecast! 🙏

Good morning! It’s a brisk one in the Big Hole this morning. We’ve had a little snow here in town this week. More in the mountains. If you’re heading here this weekend (Feb. 21&22) Ski Joring is taking place at the Wisdom Airport! Lots of fun!!
If you’re headed out to sled please be prepared for changing conditions. Snow depths vary - trees and rocks may not be covered. We’ve had winds which can build cornices and unstable conditions. Be prepared, be safe, tell someone where you’re going, and have a great time!

Wellllll - it started out snowing this morning- and then came the rain …. It’s hit and miss all over the valley. If you go out be prepared for changing conditions. Snow is sparse in spots - rocks and stumps - beware. Be safe!

A message in the snow from cross country skiers - Tad, Stephanie and Joe to our groomers.

A crew of riders made it to O’Dell! There are a few trees to watch for. Dave will be doing some more work and it should be good!

Dave and Reed have been busy clearing trees from the Stewart Meadow trail. There is a LOT of blowdown. Progress is being made. Last check, they had finally made it from Steel Fox road to the closure gate. It’s bad. If you see these guys please take a minute and thank them for their hard work!

The guys (Rex and Dean) groomed Ruby Creek Road (or Foothills Rd) to the junction with the Gibbonsville road and then up Gibbonsville road to the top of the pass. Downed trees have been cleared.
Conditions change rapidly. Trees can blow over in a flash. Have fun! Be safe!

This sounds like a blast!!!!
