This 3-day event is open to youth who've just finished 3rd grade or higher. It will run July 20, 21, and 22.

The Great Wausau 4-H Adventure invites youth to explore the Wausau community, discover new “sparks” and interests, build friendships, and develop leadership skills through hands-on experiences. From touring local landmarks and meeting community leaders to giving back through meaningful service projects, campers will learn what it means to lead with confidence, curiosity, and kindness. On July 25th, Wood County 4-H will be at the Marshfield Hub City Days event. We are looking for 4-H members, parents and leaders that are interested in volunteering during the event. All are welcome!

Many thanks to Officer Iverson and the Marshfield Police Department for co-hosting the 2026 Bike Rodeo! Thanks to the Central Wisconsin State Fair, we were able to move the event indoors and keep things moving in spite of the rain.

All participants received a free bike helmet and a great bike-related prize. Each of them received a free bike inspection with minor repairs, too thanks to our 4-H volunteers.

Thank you to all of our adult and youth volunteers for making the challenge courses, registration, and the snack station run so smoothly, too.

We appreciate everyone who helps keep youth active and safe on their bikes throughout summer!

The Bike Rodeo is ON for tomorrow - we've just moved it indoors. The obstacle courses will run in the Junior Fair and Expo buildings.
