💙 WOW… just WOW. 💙

In less than 10 hours, this incredible community came together and completely filled a vehicle with donations for the tornado relief efforts in Ringle.

From monetary to paper goods and water to everyday essentials—every single item represents kindness, generosity, and neighbors helping neighbors.

We are beyond grateful for each and every person who stopped by, dropped something off, shared the word, or showed support in any way.

This is what community looks like. 🙌

* The photo used for the poster is an actual photo from Ringle, WI. We have been in contact with the Salvation Army. These items are the immediate needs. When they have a better idea of what is needed, they will update us and we will expand the donation list. We will be taking the current items to Weston tomorrow to drop them off. If you can't make it in to drop items off today, please feel free to make a monetary donation and we can purchase items as needed. They did say they can also use bottled water. Thank you for your support!

We are very excited to add Rome FD/EMS to our family of Giving Back Inc! Thank you for allowing us to give you the opportunity to help the community with Project Lifesaver!

Last night Giving Back presented our Department with a Project Lifesaver receiver. This tool is used to help in locating individuals that have been identified as being susceptible to becoming lost and enrolled into the program. We will be training our staff on the use of the receiver and adding it to our toolbox.

Thank you to the Wisconsin Rapids Walgreens for assisting us with the purchase of 32 Epi Pens. After they are delivered to Marshfield PD later this week, all Law Enforcement Agencies in Wood County will have Epi-Pens on the front line! We would also like to thank all the donors who made this happen!

I am saddened to say that our friends in Statesville, North Carolina have suffered a huge loss today. Greg Biffle and his wife Cristina along with their two children passed away in a plane crash a few hours ago. Greg and Cristina were very gracious to us last year when we dropped off the two semi loads of goods. Our thoughts and prayers are with their family in this tough time.
