**Update**

A lot of buzz around the Christmas Party has been talked about. Yes one will happen this year however, due to the rise in covid-19 cases the party will only be for local members only. It's set for a date and time if you are unable to attend please leave a message. Any questions ask a judge.

Sure this year hasn't been great for the usual anything and with hope to change in 2021 meanwhile since the group has been basically offline things will be redone,rewritten and so on. A relaxed and open atmosphere is whats needed to give everyone a fair advantage.

Also the final year end tournament will happen at the xmas event with prizes and such. So dust off your cards and get ready....This is gonna be good.

**Update for 2020**

After carefully looking at the current events of this year and after talking to the judges. It's been decided until things calm down(not just covid but the surging crime as well) meetings at the coffeeshop will not be permitted. This includes tournaments, trades, and other Yugioh related dealings.
This does not include private meetings at homes.
The group chat will have some new rules as well as the group itself for the new year. Any suggestions or considerations will be noted.

Until things are better we feel it's best not to put others at risk. Decisions arent made lightly either and it pains me to say all of this. Until things improve things are canceled (publicly) until further notice.

Daily briefing.

Good day one and all. This post will be an update on things.

As we all know the problems that have occurred in the major cities with recent events have caused many problems. We here at Yugioh Underground would like everyone to know that we welcome anyone from all walks of life. We dont just play card games but we also like to know about the people in this growing group. A person's deck and play style can tell a story but we all strive for understanding to continually give a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
We do have rules for things to keep problems and unwanted drama to a minimum in the hopes we can all get together and take off from stress from the week.

As far as gathering goes. I dont like to say but with the gathering of people covid is still on the rise which for everyone's individual safety we will continue to watch before all the judges make an agreement. Each member of this group does matter and we look to provide a place of comfort and charity.

As we look to continue to expand and ideas continue to come in things wont change anytime soon.

We also have a chat on fb and looking to expand to other platforms as well.

We do not have a tournament aggressive siding nor do we like it as it causes problems for many people just looking to have fun.

Rules and updates will be posted at a later date.

Today, I'd like to announce a few things.

Currently we have a contest going on. For those in know prizes are given to the winner of the contest. If you have questions please message this page directly.
Item two. The D&D Yugioh is pretty much on hold until things can get figured out. If you have ideas or suggestions feel free to share ideas.

Card news.
Finally after waiting we are getting the long awaited set eternity code as of tomorrow. Check the local sellers. (MSRP 3.99) 9 cards per pack and more cards on the way!

Daily briefing.

With the covid19 pandemic we have come to a grinding halt. However, given the recent turn of events the state is slowly opening. With that in mind the group will get together when its deemed "acceptable" to both state standards and as to not burden the shop keep. It is still advised to practice "social distancing". An update will be made available when information is available to the judges.
Ideas for tournaments are in the works when we are allowed to gather as well as many event ideas in the works as well.
However, if things continue to be canceled or if things fall and LOCKDOWN again happens then the events and tournaments will be made at a later date. (Hope for the best)
The idea of a welcome, casual and friendly atmosphere is and will always will be the group's primary. Every member comes from a different walk of life so understanding and a drama free environment is and always will be made available to those who need it.
Recent events however lead us to banning a judge for a temporary sentence due to breaking these guidelines and causing many problems for some of our members.
It's also been brought to our attention that this former judge (chad) has decided to act upon his own accord and form his own group. While we bear no I'll will we also will not acknowledge the actions of, drama caused by, rumors spread by, or mockery, of those he involves. If anyone one wants to stay we will NOT force or put the members into the middle and force them choose a side.

Lastly, a deck building workshop will be available that's only by players choice however.

Covid has really changed a lot of things for many people. Hopefully everyone is still holding on.

Good day duelest.

At this moment in time I would like to keep an update as to the covid19 pandemic.

Questions regarding when we will start back up will have the same response. Until then please obey the stay at home order that has been issued.
Anything regarding to trades,meetings, or simply being bored will not be tolerated at this time. Any questions to judges will also not be answered.

Basically we here at YU understand that nothing is normal with the current state of things. We ask that showing some patience will go a long way.

Please refrain from questions in both to this page and the group chat. Right now riding out this should be at the top as should survival.

!!!Attention all duelists!!!

After full discussion with all judges, we regret to inform you that all gatherings at this time have been canceled effective immediately. This cancellation will be indefinitely as to keep everyone safe as covid 19 quarantine is in place. Please stay home if you don't have to go anywhere and be safe. In the meantime, keep building those decks and study your cards! And when we can meet again, make it the dueling comeback of legendary proportions!!!
