Family Update - The Ramthun Family 💜

Last Christmas, our BCE family had the absolute honor of blessing the Ramthun family after the loss of their daughter, Kasey. Today, we are in awe as we watch how they have taken that blessing and multiplied it to impact our entire community in such a powerful, beautiful way.

When faced with unimaginable loss, this incredible family chose to turn their tragedy into something good. Through their hard work and big hearts, the Ramthun family continues to give back endlessly to those around them in honor of Kasey.

Today, we want to invite everyone to come together, share memories, and support this amazing cause in memory of Kasey and in honor of a family that truly embodies the spirit of giving.

FAMILY UPDATE -The Wenzel Family

🎉 Happy 2nd Birthday, Princess Sophia! 👑✨

Today, we are celebrating a very special milestone, and our hearts are just overflowing with joy!
Back during Christmas 2025, our Best Christmas Ever family had the privilege of wrapping our arms around the Wenzel family while little Sophia was courageously fighting cancer. As her mom, Theresa, recently shared with us, they were living between Madison and Nekoosa—exhausted, scared, and simply trying to navigate an unimaginable nightmare with a sick baby fighting for her life. They didn't have the emotional capacity or resources to think about the magic of the holidays.

But our community showed up, and your generosity brought the magic and joy back into their home when they needed it most.

And now, we have the most incredible update to share with all of you! Sweet, brave Sophia has officially beaten cancer and is in remission! She rang that victory bell back on March 8th with the biggest, most beautiful smile. 💛

To see this little fighter turn 2 today, healthy, happy, and surrounded by the love of her family, is the greatest gift of all.

Good morning BCE supporters!

We have a couple fundraising events coming up in July and August and we could really use a little help with raffle prizes.

Our 2nd Christmas in July Pool tournament at The Spot in Nekoosa is happening July 17th - we’re looking for prizes to raffle off and items to award to the pool players.

Our 4th Annual Crow Bar Ride is set for August 15th - we’re in search of some awesome prizes to raffle off after the ride!

🏰✨ FAMILY UPDATE: Magic Does Come True! ✨🏰
Remember the Hardina Family? Last Christmas, this incredible community came together to bless Sarah, Jared, Vivian, Olive, and their brave little warrior, Beckham. 💛

As you might remember, Beckham was born 10 weeks early with Hydrops Fetalis and was later diagnosed with GACI. After spending his first 8 months fighting for his life in the hospital, his family's ultimate Christmas wish was simply to have all five of them under one roof. 🏠❤️

Thanks to YOUR unbelievable generosity and love, we were able to give them the Best Christmas Ever... and the updates keep getting sweeter! 🌟

We are absolutely thrilled to share that this beautiful family recently got to travel to the Most Wonderful Place on Earth to make unforgettable memories together!

Thank you to every single person in this community who played a part in blessing the Hardinas. You didn't just give them gifts under a tree; you gave them a lifelong memory of joy and togetherness. 🙏❤️

The Best Christmas Ever family lost a very special member.

Heather Smith, one of our 2025 BCE recipients, has passed away. Heather reminded us all why we do what we do—she embodied resilience and gratitude even in the toughest times. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family, especially her son, Jeremy and friends as they navigate this difficult loss. Her spirit will always be a part of our BCE story. ✨
