“Being a part of the SIT program was a great opportunity for me to get my foot in the door at Skelton. Not only did it introduce me to the staff and program director at the time, but it also taught me about the job. I learned what program area I wanted to teach at in the future, what responsibilities are required of staff members that you don’t get to see as a teen, and most importantly the family that I would be coming into. I am and will always be thankful for the SIT program because it is what catalyzed the two best summers I have had and will ever have in my entire life.”
