☀️ SPARK Summer Program spots are filling FAST! ☀️

We currently have:
💖 Open spots in Kindergarten
⭐ A few spots left in 1st–3rd Grade
🌎 Almost full in 4th Grade
📣 Open spots in our 5th Grade Mentor Program!

Our mentor program is designed to help current 5th graders build confidence, leadership skills, responsibility, and independence while helping younger students throughout the summer — all while preparing students for a successful transition into middle school 💙

Don’t wait too long — once spots are gone, they’re gone!

It’s with great sadness that I have to announce that the Winthrop Parents Network program will be ending on June 30th 2026. The grant from the Department of Early Education and Care was denied because the town is out of compliance with the MBTA Communities Law (aka 3A) passed in 2021.
It has been my pleasure to coordinate this program for 16 years providing free early literacy, parenting education and support to hundreds of Winthrop families.
Thank you to everyone who worked with me - you are some of the kindest and most caring people I know.
And a special thanks to all the families who participated in our playgroups, family nights and our International Nights through the years. It’s been an amazing experience !
Sincerely, Anita Preble
