Winthrop Royalty

Winthrop Royalty Promoting and celebrating the community of Winthrop with poise and grace. The candidates also choose a young woman to serve as Miss Congeniality.

The Winthrop Royalty program first started in 1981, and has been providing opportunities for women in the Winthrop community consistently since 1985. Each year, young women have the opportunity to participate in the Winthrop Royalty candidate program to celebrate Grackle Days. A panel of judges chooses a candidate to serve as Miss Winthrop, and another candidate to serve as Winthrop Princess. Tog

ether, these women promote the community throughout the region at parades, community festivals, volunteering in the community and performing community service.

Wellllll… Last months National Night Out took an unexpected turn. 😂

🎓✨ SENIOR YEAR, HERE THEY COME! ✨🎓

It’s officially the first day of senior year for all three of our Winthrop Royalty girls!

Lara and Miley are kicking off their senior year at GFW, while Maddie is starting hers at MVL in New Ulm!

We are so excited for these three and everything their senior year has in store. Between all the lasts, the big decisions, the fun memories and everything in between, we hope it’s a year they’ll never forget!

Help us wish Lara, Miley and Maddie an amazing first day and a fantastic senior year!

Back to school is a little more fun when bingo, face paint and balloons are involved!

Sibley County gave us two days of royalty fun!

First up was the Princess Picnic, where a little rain meant an indoor picnic instead! Then Sunday we were back together for a meet and greet and coronation.

Congratulations to the newly crowned Sibley County Royalty! Our girls are so excited to get to know you and spend the next year alongside you!

Another trip to Target Field, but this time it was just for FUN!

The girls and their families headed up for Twins Sparkle Night with royalty from all across Minnesota! Before the game, the girls even got to take a lap around the field with all of the visiting royalty!

Then it was time to grab some snacks, watch some baseball and just enjoy a fun night together!

BINGO!

Our girls spent some time at the Winthrop Lodge, taking turns calling bingo and visiting with the residents. Everyone walked away with a prize, a little friendly competition definitely came out, and there were smiles and laughs all around!

We loved getting to spend this time with some of our wonderful community members.

Sometimes royalty is crowns, gowns and parades… and sometimes it’s just this! 😂

I absolutely love seeing these girls just being silly, laughing together and having fun. These are the moments that make some of the best memories.
