From blank windows to this! 🎨🚜

Lara and Miley had so much fun helping paint the Chamber office windows for Farm City Fun Fest. It took a lot of time, creativity, and a few paint-covered hands, but we think the finished product turned out pretty great!

Be sure to stop by and check it out as we get ready for another fun Farm City Fun Fest!

The Farm City Fun Fest countdown is on!

Today, Lara and Miley spent some time adding a little color to downtown Winthrop by painting the Chamber window in preparation for Farm City Fun Fest. Their creativity and enthusiasm are helping spread excitement for one of our favorite summer traditions!

Be sure to stop by, check out their artwork, and mark your calendars for a fun-filled weekend celebrating our community.

Today, we remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives serving our country. 🇺🇸

This Memorial Day feels especially meaningful after witnessing the homecoming of Captain William Bianchi this past April. The procession was absolutely beautiful and truly brought tears to our eyes. What an incredible moment for our communities to be part of and a reminder that these heroes are never forgotten.

We are so grateful for all who have served, sacrificed, and continue to protect our freedoms. Wishing everyone a meaningful Memorial Day as we take time to remember those who gave everything.

Back in April, our Winthrop Royalty had the chance to help the Winthrop Park Committee with their very first Plant Bingo event! 🌿💐

The girls enjoyed serving the meal, spending time with community members, and joining in on the bingo fun throughout the evening. It was wonderful to see so many people come together for such a fun community event.

Thank you to the Winthrop Park Committee for inviting our royalty to be part of such a special first event. We had a great time and loved being involved! 💚🪴🌷

During Grackle Days, our girls kicked off Sunday morning bright and early by teaming up with the Winthrop MN Lions Club to help serve their annual Spring Omelet Breakfast! 🍳✨

Did you know the Lions Clubs International spans more than 200 countries and regions worldwide? While each local club is dedicated to serving its own community, Lions International as a whole focuses on making a global impact by raising awareness and funds for causes like childhood cancer, diabetes, disaster relief, vision care, and humanitarian efforts. 🩷

We are so grateful our girls had the chance to be part of something so meaningful right here in our community!

During Grackle Days weekend, the girls had the chance to try on their escorts’ full fire gear…

And I had an idea.

Because obviously, the next logical step after putting on full firefighter gear… is a race through the fire hall.

So yes — crowns stayed on, gear was secured (mostly), and I hit record.

Add in slow motion and a lot of laughter… and this is what you get.

The girls gave it their all and honestly… they might just make some pretty great firefighters someday. 😉

Day one of royalty life = SUCCESS at Grackle Days!

We started at the library where the girls voted on their favorite art pieces (and shoutout to Maddie for submitting her own!).

The weather tried to test us a bit — cold, windy, and strong enough to take out Miley’s attempt at a Mary Poppins moment… her umbrella didn’t stand a chance.

We made our way through the vendor fair, did some shopping, and had a little fun trying on summer dresses at the Lavender Boutique.

After a stop at the Winthrop Museum to soak in some local history, we ended the night helping the Fire Department with their annual pork chop dinner. The girls even got suited up in their escorts’ full firefighter gear!

And trust me… you’re going to want to come back tomorrow to see what happens when I made them race in their escorts’ fire gear.
