This is so wonderful!!!

🎗️NORTH CAROLINA IS GOING GOLD!🎗️

In early May, I submitted a proclamation request to Governor Josh Stein’s office asking that September be officially recognized as Childhood Cancer Awareness Month in North Carolina. Today, I received the news that the proclamation has been approved! 💛

As Miss Dunn, one of the greatest honors has been using this title to advocate for something so close to my heart. Childhood cancer deserves more awareness, more research, more resources, and most importantly, more hope for the children and families facing it.

This September, North Carolina will to recognize the brave children who have fought, those who continue to fight, and the precious lives we carry with us. 🎗️

What started as a request in May has become a statewide recognition—and I couldn’t be more grateful to play a small part in making that happen.

September is officially GOLD in North Carolina. 💛🎗️

Survivorship is a journey that continues long after the last treatment. Every child deserves support, care, and hope not just during their fight, but for the years that follow. That's why the work of Riley's Army goes beyond the diagnosis. 🎗💛

Back-to-school season is here, and we know how busy the first week can be! ✏️📚

This wonderful group of high school students came together to make beautiful gold bows in support of Riley’s Army as we prepare for Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month! 💛🎗️

We are especially proud of one of our very own Teen Board members, who took this project on as her own special way to support Riley’s Army and the children and families we serve. 💛

Thank you to these amazing students for using their creativity, time, and hearts to make a difference! Kids helping kids—this is what it’s all about! 🎗️💛
